Our Food

Burnside Hospital’s catering team provide a varied menu, which is periodically reviewed to provide our patients choice, variety from day to day and catering to all dietary requirements and allergies.

Our highly skilled and qualified catering team, serve fresh and nutritious meals for our patients to enjoy whilst in our facility without the use of deep drying or heavy use of fats.

Our menu has been created in consultation with a dietitian and meets the Australian Dietary Guidelines that aim to:

  • promote health and wellbeing
  • reduce the risk of diet-related conditions
  • reduce the risk of chronic disease

 

We cater for nut or other allergies, gluten insensitivities, special diets and religious specifications. Please nominate any dietary requirements or allergies on your eAdmissions form or discuss with our Pre-Admissions team.
