Fees and Charges

Burnside Hospital will undertake an eligibility check with your health fund prior to your admission and will advise you of any possible out of pocket expenses for your stay. Please note, this will not include any additional fees which may be incurred during your stay with us.

Please note, Burnside Hospital is no longer accepting cash payments.
Payments will be accepted via eftpos and credit card only.

  • All out of pocket expenses are to be paid two days prior to admission. Payments can be made via B-Pay, electronic funds transfer or credit card.
  • Self-insured patients must pay in full two days prior to their admission.
  • Your specialists private rooms will bill you separately - these fees will not be included in your hospital fees.
