Cafe Otto

Whether you are a patient or a visitor, take a moment to enjoy a freshly brewed cappuccino or a light meal in Café Otto.

Café Otto is proudly owned and operated by Burnside War Memorial Hospital. The Café is conveniently located on the ground floor of the Hospital and is perfectly situated overlooking the picturesque, heritage-listed Attunga Gardens.

Patrons are welcome to relax at a table inside or take their coffee or meal out in the courtyard. 

Food

Café Otto offers a range of homemade and locally sourced light meals, treats and snacks. All food is available to enjoy in the Café, to take home, or to enjoy in the comfort of your room. The Café accommodates for a variety of dietary requirements, with vegetarian and gluten free options also available.

Coffee

Our coffee beans are sourced from renowned Australian roasters, Dimattina, using a robust blend of four beans that are sustainably sourced from Central and South America, New Guinea and Asia. The blend is described as ‘rich, smooth and flamboyant’, and we couldn’t agree more. 

We also offer a range of teas, hot beverages and cold drinks. Our baristas work with a range of alternative non-dairy milks, including coffee favourites, MilkLab and Bonsoy. 

Opening hours

We are a proudly not-for-profit private hospital. Staffed by a team of dedicated volunteers, all profits from Cafe Otto help to support and improve patient services at Burnside.
