Volunteer for us

Our team of volunteers provide an invaluable service to patients, visitors and staff at Burnside Hospital.

From escorting patients to their rooms, to helping families find their way around the hospital, assisting with administrative tasks or making sandwiches in Cafe Otto, the input of our volunteers is vital in the day-to-day operation of the hospital.

Volunteering at Burnside is not only enjoyable and rewarding, but provides a wonderful opportunity for you to create social connections, contribute your skills and enhance the patient experience.

As a volunteer, you will be part of a dynamic, committed and established team in which you are valued and supported as part of the hospital’s community.

You can now complete your application form to volunteer at Burnside online! The link is provided below, or via the 'Become a Volunteer' page.
