Dr Tamara Turnbull is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology providing care to women through all stages of life. Dr Turnbull was born and raised in country South Australia and has a passionate interest in delivering the highest level of care to women in rural and regional South Australia.

Dr Turnbull provides personalised pregnancy care from pre-conception to postnatal follow up. She supports patient centred care with informed decision making throughout your pregnancy - from vaginal deliveries, to elective caesareans, including all the various pain relief options throughout. She has years of experience being directly involved in high risk deliveries at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Dr Turnbull can offer antenatal care in both Adelaide Hills O&G purpose built Mount Barker and Stirling consulting rooms, and deliveries at Mount Barker Hospital, Burnside Hospital or The Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Dr Turnbull is trained in both advanced laparoscopic surgery and open gynaecological procedures. She has a special interest in gynaecological oncology and has spent extended time working in this subspecialty. This extra training means Dr Turnbull can offer surveillance for low risk cancer follow up, as well as expert colposcopy examinations for abnormal cervical screening tests. Dr Turnbull specialises in surgery for endometriosis, large fibroids, heavy menstrual bleeding, prolapse or benign ovarian cysts.
