Dr Robyn Coombe
Breast Surgeon
Dr Robyn Coombe is a Breast and General Surgeon in Adelaide. She completed General Surgery training in South Australia, followed by specialist training in Breast Oncoplastic Surgery and she is a fully qualified member of BreastSurgANZ.
Robyn completed her primary medical degree at Griffith University in Queensland in 2009, before returning to Adelaide for surgical training, through which she gained exposure to a wide range of general surgical procedures.
Following this, Robyn undertook subspecialty training in breast cancer and reconstruction through fellowships at the Flinders Medical Centre and the world-renowned Guy’s Hospital in London, UK.
Robyn plays an active role in breast cancer research, for which she holds an academic title. Her research has contributed to numerous publications in the medical literature. Robyn also currently works at the Flinders Medical Centre on the general surgical emergency on call roster.

- Optimising cosmesis following breast cancer surgery
- Delivery of multidisciplinary care in breast cancer
- Risk reducing surgery for high risk individuals
- Benign breast disease
