Construction Works Underway
The initial phase of works will focus on excavation and construction of the project’s double basement.
As construction progresses, the site will become an active construction area for an anticipated period of approximately two years.
What to Expect
During construction, there will be increased activity around the site, including movements of:
- Excavation equipment
- Concrete trucks and concrete pumps
- Delivery vehicles servicing the project
- Other construction machinery and equipment
Some increased noise and vehicle activity may occur, particularly during major excavation and concrete works.
Burnside Hospital acknowledges the Kaurna people as the Traditional Owners of the land and waters on which we live and care for our community.
We recognise their Native Title Rights to Country, and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
