Patients with Carers

We understand the importance of having the right support during your stay at Burnside Hospital and we are here to ensure you feel comfortable, supported and well cared for every step of the way.

If you are dependent on a carer or are under 18 years of age, please let us know ahead of your admission so we can make the appropriate arrangements for you.

If arrangements are made in advance, your carer is welcome to accompany you throughout your stay and, if necessary, stay overnight as a boarder. This service is offered to help make your Burnside Hospital experience as smooth and supportive as possible.

Please be aware that boarding fees may apply for overnight stays.

To confirm everything is arranged to meet your needs, please contact our pre admissions team.
