Dr Vanessa Tee
Respiratory and Sleep Physician
Dr Vanessa Tee completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2008 at the University of Adelaide, followed by an internship and the basic physician training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She undertook the advanced training in respiratory and sleep medicine at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Royal Adelaide Hospital. She obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2016.
Dr Tee is a clinical research fellow in the Department of Thoracic Medicine at the Royal Adelaide Hospital while completing the Master of Philosophy at The University of Adelaide. Her research focus is on therapeutic bronchoscopy procedures for emphysema with endobronchial valves and bronchial thermoplasty in severe asthma. She is a clinical lecturer at the University of Adelaide and actively involved in university teaching, postgraduate education and clinical research.
Dr Tee provides care to patients with respiratory conditions and sleep disorders. She has special interests in COPD, interventional pulmonary, sleep disordered breathing, chronic respiratory failure and non-respiratory sleep disorders including narcolepsy, parasomnia, insomnia and restless leg syndrome.
