Dr Mandana Master
Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Dr Master started her professional career as a pharmacist gaining academic honours for this degree. She worked in this field for four years before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. Dr Master completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery through Flinders University and subsequent specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has advanced training in high risk obstetrics, urogynaecology and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. Dr Master’s special interests include management of abnormal cervical screening tests, heavy menstrual bleeding, vaginal surgery as well as laparoscopic surgery.
Dr Master is actively engaged with training the next generation of doctors through her public appointment at the Women’s and Children’s hospital in addition to an honorary clinical lecturer position at the University of Adelaide.
