Important Notice: Burnside Hospital Stepney Maintenance Works

Please be advised that scheduled maintenance works are currently underway to upgrade the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system within the Perioperative Suite at our Stepney site only.

These essential works are part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, high-quality clinical environment.

• We would like to assure patients and visitors that:
  Patient safety and infection prevention and control remain our highest priority
• All works will be conducted in accordance with strict infection control standards and hospital protocols 
• The affected areas will be fully sealed (hoarded) and physically separated from all clinical care areas
• There will be no impact on the safety or sterility of operating theatres or patient care environments. 

While every effort will be made to minimise disruption, you may experience some intermittent noise during this period. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
