Burnside Hospital Foundation to Host Giving Day – 3 September 2025
The Burnside Hospital Foundation is excited to announce its upcoming Giving Day, to be held on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, from 11am to 3pm.
This special event will bring together the community to celebrate the hospital’s proud history while raising vital funds to support its ongoing mission of delivering exceptional care, always.
On the day, visitors will have the unique opportunity to take guided tours led by volunteers, showcasing both the hospital’s modern facilities and the rich heritage of Attunga House — the historic residence of Mr Otto von Rieben, whose generosity helped establish Burnside Hospital.
In addition to the tours, volunteers will be on hand to accept donations, sell raffle tickets, and share more about the Foundation’s work in supporting hospital services. Adding to the community spirit, Burnside Rotary will host a mobile BBQ on site to keep donors and visitors well-fed as they enjoy the day’s activities.
The Foundation warmly invites the community to take part, learn more about the hospital’s legacy, and contribute to the future of patient care at Burnside Hospital.
