Dr Michelle Tan is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician at Ashford Thoracics and SA Group of Specialists/Adelaide Sleep.
She graduated from the University of Adelaide and completed her Respiratory training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital followed by a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Michelle is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) and Australasian Sleep Association (ASA).
Her respiratory interests include lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, asthma and interventional pulmonology as well as sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnoea, narcolepsy, parasomnia and REM behaviour disorder.
She provides inpatient consultations at Calvary Adelaide, Ashford, Calvary North Adelaide, St Andrew’s Hospital and Burnside Hospital (sleep studies). Bronchoscopic and pleural procedures are performed at Calvary Adelaide and Ashford Hospitals.
