Dr Cheong trained at Flinders University and graduated in 1996.
Dr Cheong completed her specialist training at Guys Hospital in London, where she also worked as a Clinical Research Fellow. Since returning to Adelaide, she has been part of the team at Icon Cancer Centre Adelaide (formerly Adelaide Cancer Centre) and continues to be actively involved in clinical trials to help bring the latest treatment options to patients.
She consults once a week at the Brian Fricker Oncology Centre at Burnside Hospital.
Dr Cheong has a special interest in treating solid tumours, with a focus on breast, lung, ovarian, and gastrointestinal cancers. She is committed to providing compassionate, personalised care to each of her patients.
