Dr Ian Wong is an experienced ENT specialist with a practice that encompasses both adult and paediatric ear, nose and throat conditions.
Since completing his specialist training in 2008, he has held senior appointments across both public and private settings and is actively involved in surgical and clinical care across multiple metropolitan hospitals.
He has a particular interest in minimally invasive ear surgery and implantable hearing technologies. As one of the early adopters of endoscopic ear surgery in Australia, he brings extensive experience to this innovative technique. Dr Wong was also instrumental in introducing the world’s first transcutaneous bone conduction hearing device to Australia.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Wong contributes to several professional committees, including serving as a long-standing treasurer for the South Australian Branch of the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery, and is a member of a hospital Medical Advisory Committee.
