Dr Arthur Karagiannis is a highly experienced eye surgeon and has been practicing as an ophthalmologist since 2001. He is a graduate of Adelaide University Medical School and completed his ophthalmology training in 2000.
Dr Karagiannis served 3 years as president of the Australian Society of Ophthalmology (ASO), from November 2011 until November 2014.
He was a Federal Board Member and Vice President of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), as well as having served on numerous committees at both state and federal levels.
He is also a member of the European Society of Cataracts and Refractive Surgery, as well as the Australian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
