Kate and her wonderful team recommend that newborns are photographed at approximately 2 weeks of age, therefore sessions are best booked while you are still pregnant. All they need is a due date and your voucher details to secure your session.
Your invitation to be part of our 'Born at Burnside' Exhibition.
In collaboration with Kate & Co, we invite you and your family to be a part of an exhibition featuring Burnside Hospital families and their new babies. It also celebrates the tiny humans we've welcome into the world at Burnside, your community Hospital.
We are honoured to share this special time with you and your involvement in the exhibition is entirely voluntary. It is also not a condition of utilising the photographic experience and 8×10″ matted art print offer from Burnside Hospital.
The exhibition is hosted throughout the Burnside Hospital Maternity Ward, and your image will be gifted to you as our thank you for your involvement after a 6-12 month period.

What is the 'Born at Burnside' exhibition?
In collaboration with Kate & Co, we are honoured to curate a rolling gallery exhibition – ‘Born at Burnside’.
All Burnside Hospital’s birthing families receive a complimentary portrait experience at the Kate & Co studio, including an 8×10″ matted art print of their choice.
This gorgeous gift is valued at $285 and is exclusive to Burnside Hospital families.
As part of this offer, you are also invited to take part in the exhibition, which is updated with new families every 3-6 months. Images are selected in collaboration with Kate & Co and feature your gorgeous newborns first name and birth date details only. They are professionally printed and framed and will be exhibited throughout the Burnside Hospital maternity unit.
If your baby and family are chosen to be part of the exhibition, you will be gifted the framed print as our thank you for your participation. It is expected that images will remain as part of the exhibition for up to 12 months or more.
Of course, your involvement in the exhibition is entirely voluntary and not a condition of utilising the photographic experience and 8×10″ matted art print offer from Burnside Hospital.
What does the session include?
Your gift includes a newborn session at the Kate & Co studio, located in Edwardstown, SA.
Your gift is valued at $285 and includes:
- Portrait Preparation Guide and Questionnaire to get the most out of your session
- Your photographers time and talent to create your images, generally around 1-1.5 hours depending on the type of session
- Full use of the studio wardrobe.
- Production of 40+ images to choose from, depending on the type of session
- In-studio Design and Ordering Appointment
- 8×10″ matted art print of your choice valued at $195
