Dr Chris Sexton

Obstetrician/Gynaecologist

Dr Sexton is an Adelaide trained Obstetrician and Gynaecologist specialising in all aspects of women’s health. 

After graduating from the University of Adelaide in 1992, he worked in the major teaching hospitals in Adelaide, obtaining Membership of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1998. He completed his Fellowship training in the United Kingdom before returning to Adelaide, commencing in private practice in 2002.

Dr Sexton specialise in both low and high-risk obstetrics and all areas of gynaecology. If required, he can manage high risk pregnancies at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, North Adelaide where he currently holds a position as a Senior Visiting Obstetrician. He is the visiting gynaecologist to the Southern Fleurieu region.

Dr Sexton serves Burnside Hospital on both their Perinatal and Clinical Incident Review Committees.
