Dr Richard Strickland
Intensivist
Dr Richard Strickland completed fellowship with the CICM in 2008 and was awarded the Don Harrison medal that year. He is currently employed as a senior consultant at the RAH and his interest include critical care ultrasound and extracorporeal supports including dialysis and ECMO.
He completed a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound in 2012, runs regular ultrasound courses for trainees and is able to act as supervisor for the CCPU and DDU. Richard is a CICM First Part examiner and has been a member of the CICM Curriculum Review Committee and Assessment Committee since 2011.
He currently holds an academic appointment as a Clinical Senior Lecturer with the University of Adelaide.
External interests include tennis, golf, cross-country biking, rock climbing and skydiving.
