Dr Rebecca Holst
Consultant Paediatrician
Rebecca is a General Paediatrician who enjoys helping newborns and children of a variety of ages and developmental stages. She has particular interests in developmental delay and neonatal medicine, as well as the full range of common general paediatric concerns such as asthma and constipation. She is a member of the Neurodevelopmental and Behavioural Paediatric Society of Australia.
Rebecca was born and raised in South Australia. She studied at the University of Adelaide’s medical school, including a year spent learning in the Barossa Valley. She completed her general paediatric training at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Lyell McEwin Hospital and Port Augusta Hospital before admission as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2021.
As a proud mother of twin girls, Rebecca understands the challenges that come with parenting young children and navigating the medical system. She is a kind and approachable paediatrician who is passionate about supporting children and their families. From mid-2022 she will be conducting her professional work across her private practice and a public appointment at the Lyell McEwin Hospital.
