Dr Michelle Tan
Respiratory and Sleep Physician
Dr Michelle Tan is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician based at Ashford Thoracics and SA Group of Specialists/Adelaide Sleep.
She graduated from the University of Adelaide and completed her Respiratory training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital followed by a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Michelle is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ), Australasian Sleep Association (ASA), European Respiratory Society (ERS) and American Thoracic Society (ATS).
Her respiratory interests include interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma and interventional pulmonology as well as sleep disorders such as sleep apnoea, restless legs syndrome, narcolepsy, parasomnia and REM behavior disorder.
She provides inpatient consultations at Calvary Adelaide, Ashford, Calvary North Adelaide, St Andrew’s Hospital and Burnside Hospital (sleep studies).
