Dr Jonathan Polasek

Respiratory and Sleep Physician

Dr Jonathan Polasek graduated from Adelaide University in 1995 and completed 10 years of post-graduate training at both the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Initially, he commenced advanced training in Intensive Care Medicine and largely completed this training, including a year of anaesthetics. Following evolving interests, he moved into Respiratory Medicine in 2003 and completed this training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He finished the requirements for Sleep Medicine in 2007.

In 2012, he was appointed Director of Physician Training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. With intensive care background, Dr Polasek has considerable experience with non-invasive ventilation techniques. He also has an interest in pulmonary hypertension.
