Prof Hubertus Jersmann

Respiratory and Sleep Physician

Professor Hubertus Jersmann graduated from the University of Düsseldorf in Germany  in 1984. He migrated to Adelaide in 1988 and completed his Physician training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital as well as Flinders Medical Centre and Repatriation General Hospital.

He has an MD from the University of Düsseldorf, a Ph.D from the University of Adelaide and spent two years in Edinburgh for his postdoctoral studies in Respiratory Cellular Biology. Hubertus Jersmann is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Thoracic Medicine at the Royal Adelaide Hospital since 2002 and has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide since 2003. He is a qualified sleep physician and has been a practicing Consultant in Sleep Medicine since 2002 in the public sector and since 2006 in Private. Dr Jersmann is fluent in German.

All patients will be bulk-billed for their visits and for Sleep Studies a Gap-cover reimbursement arrangement is in place with all Private Insurers.
