Dr Melanie Johnson is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist providing expert care for women through multiple stages of their lives from adolescence through to menopause.  All of Dr Johnson’s specialist training has been completed in South Australia and she is proud to offer the women of the Adelaide Hills and surrounds a thorough and compassionate service.

Dr Johnson provides comprehensive pregnancy care for both low and higher risk pregnancies.  Dr Johnson has a practice that offers onsite midwifery, hypnotherapy and physiotherapy services.  You can have the benefit of local antenatal care with a delivery at Burnside Hospital.

Dr Johnson is trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery including endometriosis management and total laparoscopic hysterectomy.   In addition, Dr Johnson is able to offer a range of urogynaecology procedures for managing incontinence and prolapse.  

Dr Johnson proudly serves as a medical officer in the Royal Australian Army Reserves and regularly visits Kangaroo Island to provide outreach Gynaecology services.
