Dr Rabin Bhandari is a fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (Royal Australasian College of Physicians). He is the chairperson of the SA branch of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
At Burnside Hospital, he provides acute peri-operative general medical and rehabilitation care for surgical inpatients. His particular interest is post-operative pain management and return to active lifestyles after major surgery.
He graduated with a medical degree from the University of Newcastle (Australia), and did the majority of his basic and advanced training in Sydney (including at Royal Prince Alfred, Balmain, Prince of Wales, The Royal Rehabilitation Centre, St George, and Bankstown Hospitals).
