Dr Meena Okera

Medical Oncologist

Dr Okera trained at the University of Adelaide and graduated in 2001. She began her specialist training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and completed it at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, London. She practiced as a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the Royal Darwin Hospital and was involved in a number of key service development projects for cancer care in the Northern Territory.

Dr Okera consults at the Brian Fricker Oncology Centre at the Burnside Hospital one day per week.

Special Interests:

Treatment of solid tumours in particular breast and gynaecological malignancies, as well as providing supportive and survivorship care.
