Dr Marianne Yanni
Paediatrician
Dr Yanni is experienced in and enjoys the variety and challenge of general paediatrics and adolescent medicine. Her particular interests include:
- Neonatal medicine (especially fussy infants and feeding issues)
- Developmental and behavioural paediatrics
- She is also an accredited Autism Spectrum Diagnostician with Autism SA.
Dr Yanni consults in clinics at Paediatrics at Burnside and Paediatrics at North Adelaide.
Dr Yanni completed her general paediatric training at the Women's and Children's Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, Lyell McEwin Hospital and Port Augusta Hospital. Her training included valuable additional experience in the Child Development Unit of the WCH prior to admission to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2019.
Dr Yanni graduated from Griffith University in 2010. She completed a Masters by Research through the Women's and Children's Vaccine and Clinical Research Trial Unit & the University of Adelaide. Her Masters evaluated the incidence and risk factors of Neonatal Group B Streptococcal Infection. Prior to becoming a doctor, she worked as a pharmacist in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Dr Yanni’s private practice is balanced with a busy family life. She is known for her sense of humour and light heartedness.
