Respiratory and Sleep Physician

A/Professor Chien-Li Holmes-Liew graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1999. She trained in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, working as a Staff Specialist in Thoracic Medicine at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Adelaide before relocating to Toronto, Canada, to develop further skills in Advanced Lung Disease, Respiratory Failure, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Multi-organ Transplantation.

A/Professor Holmes-Liew worked with the St Vincent’s Hospital Heart-Lung Transplant Unit in Sydney in 2008. She has broad training in all aspects of Respiratory and transplantation medicine, and completed full Sleep Medicine training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

She also has a special interest in the pulmonary complications of haematological diseases, having recently completed her thesis in this field.
