Dr Adele Crowley

Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

Dr Crowley is well respected for her professional skills and knowledge in both obstetrics and gynaecology. She has an approachable nature, adopting a calm and understanding approach to patient-centred care.

Dr Crowley graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2006 and completed her speciality training in South Australia in 2017. She is currently a staff specialist at Flinders Medical Centre, facilitating continuity of care with a tertiary centre if required. This also enables her to provide teaching and support to junior doctors, both those pursuing O&G careers and pre-vocational doctors, inspiring them to consider O&G in their future.

Dr Crowley is thrilled to be working in private practice as her greatest professional joy comes from supporting women through every stage of life.

Dr Crowley is supportive of women in high-risk obstetrics including Vaginal Birth After Caesarean (VBAC), twin vaginal delivery and Placenta Accreta.  She also has a special interest in prevention and management of perineal and obstetric anal sphincter injury, birth after previous trauma, as well as perinatal mental health. Dr Crowley excels at general gynaecology and specialises in the management of pre-invasive cervical disease and pelvic organ prolapse. Dr Crowley has valuable experience in maternal intensive care, care of pregnancy in trauma facilities and has a keen interest in the management of placental disorders. 

Dr Crowley works in collaboration with two like-minded female colleagues, ensuring you are in safe hands throughout your pregnancy journey.
