Burnside Hospital Foundation

About the Foundation

Burnside War Memorial Hospital Inc is a not-for-profit community hospital which receives no government funding. Support from the community is vital to our success.

Established in 1998, the Burnside Hospital Foundation supports the hospital by:

  • Funding leading-edge medical, surgical and ancillary equipment for quality patient care and outcomes;
  • Supporting building redevelopment and refurbishment programs to meet the changing needs and expectations of the community; and
  • Funding approved patient care services at the hospital, such as funds towards an additional part-time specialty nurse for breast cancer patients.

Burnside Hospital Foundation recieves donations and bequests from generous members of our community,  businesses, and philanthropic trusts and foundations. We also generate income from fundraising events and through the sale of merchandise such as Entertainment Books.

Supporters receive regular newsletters to keep them up to date with our activities.

Burnside Hospital is an ACNC Registered Charity and endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient, making all donations $2+ fully tax deductible.
