Clinical Nurse – Short Stay Procedure Unit - (RN Level 2) Part Time / Full Time Position 0.8 – 1.0 fte
The Burnside Hospital is currently seeking a motivated Clinical Nurse to join the Short Stay Procedure Unit (SSPU) team. The CN SSPU is primarily responsible for assisting and supporting the Clinical Manager in agreed clinical leadership functions within the SSPU.
Essential Criteria:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including computer skills;
- Significant nursing experience in the acute perioperative setting.
Desirable Criteria:
- Relevant post graduate qualifications.

Clinical Educator – Maternity Service (Registered Midwife Level 2)
Permanent Part Time 0.4 FTE
Burnside Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Educator to join our Maternity Service to support the continuing education of midwives. Flexible days and hours of work may be negotiated. Additional hours as an RM Level 1 outside this role can also be negotiated if required.
Applicants must be registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Midwife and have extensive, diverse, and recent experience in the acute setting. Relevant post graduate qualifications including adult learning are desirable but not essential.
