Dr Ellen Raghoudi
Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Dr Ellen Raghoudi is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist, providing care for women at all stages of their lives with a focus on improving women’s wellbeing through educating and empowering her patients.
Having completed her medical degree at Flinders University, Dr Ellen Raghoudi undertook her specialist training at all of the major hospitals in Adelaide, as well as regionally in Mt Gambier. In her final two years of training, she focused on advanced laparoscopic (key-hole) surgery and management of endometriosis.
Dr Ellen Raghoudi is also skilled in providing obstetrics care, having extensive experience in caring for women with both low and high risk pregnancies. She is excited to be able to offer care for women and their families at Burnside Hospital and is supportive of women with high-risk pregnancies such as twin pregnancies and vaginal births after caesarean (VBAC).
Dr Ellen Raghoudi holds a Staff Specialist appointment at the Lyell McEwin Hospital and also lectures University of Adelaide medical students. She is dedicated to passing on her passion for women’s health through teaching junior doctors and medical students. She also believes that a key part of providing care to her patients is to educate them about their health so that they can make the best informed choices for them and their families.
